While the death of Robin Williams prompted many free channels to upset their programming, only pay TV subscription pay tribute to the icon of the golden age of Hollywood, Lauren Bacall. The superstar will be honored on specialty TCM Classic Film and Ciné + coming days.

West Frontier takes place in 1905 at the northwest frontier of India. Lauren Bacall portrays the governess of the son of a Maharaja. The latter is responsible for escorting the child with an English captain, Scott, in a country undergoing revolution.
TCM propose on September 16 to review two masterpieces in which Lauren Bacall played: Passengers of the Night and The Port of anxiety . Both restored new version. Both films depict the mythical couple Bogart-Bacall.
