This is a radiant Gaspard Ulliel who spoke at 20 Minutes on Monday afternoon. He had just learned that Saint Laurent , the film by Bertrand Bonello had been chosen to represent France at the Oscars for Best Foreign Film. “It’s convenient two days before the release of the movie because I think it’s something that can help them do know and drain the spectators in the galleries,” says the young actor.
Cool heads
The thirty player does not let up, however the head. “There are still many steps to take before being appointed, but I know that the American distributor is very motivated and intend to discuss the buzz around the overseas release,” said Gaspard Ulliel. It was not until Jan. 15 to hear if Saint Laurent is retained or not among the competitors for this prestigious award. “We recognize that the sulfur side of the film can serve in America and there are many prestigious competitors who may be favored by the academy, but it’s great to have this opportunity,” said Gaspard Ulliel .
