Daft Punk Unchained, a documentary about him too clean – L’Express

In May 1993, the British magazine Melody Maker demolishes the pieces of a young French group, calling them “Daft Punky Trash”, literally “Idiot Punk”. A few months later, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo throw the project Darlin ‘and founded Daft Punk. For the first time, the success story of the electro duo is told no surprise in a rich documentary stakeholders (their first manager Pedro Winter guitarist Nile Rodgers). Daft Punk Unchained , directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre, brush a little too much legend in the direction of the helmet but perfectly portrays the permanent control exercised by Robots on all parts of their musical endeavor.
