The 17th edition of the Techno Parade was marred by the death of a participant this Saturday, September 19th. A young man of 21 years made a fatal fall while the Techno Parade parade had reached its end point, instead of the Republic, in the third arrondissement of Paris.
Based on corroborating testimonies, the victim had climbed onto the statue of Marianne, located in the center of the square of the Republic, and would have fallen. A version confirmed by a police source.
This is the first serious accident during a Techno Parade in the capital which gathered this year more than 350,000 people.
