Delphine de Vigan won the Goncourt prize for students – Le Figaro

Delphine de Vigan today received the Goncourt prize for students for his novel Based on a true story , published by JC Lattes.

The announcement was made live from the Opera de Rennes which had gathered one last time students 13 jurors. The foreman of the students, Corto Courtois, announced the news to him by telephone. “Thanks, I’m very happy and very surprised, thank you to the students who voted for me. This is a very nice price, “said Delphine de Vigan.

Some 2,000 students from 53 high schools, from second class, or first end, general or professional, have had two months to read 14 novels selected by the Académie Goncourt which it awarded its prize to Mathias Enard for “Compass” (Actes Sud) November 3.

Delphine de Vigan who also had the Renaudot prize this year succeeds David Foenkinos for Charlotte , in 2014.
