Budgeted between 50 and 100 million ( “the budget that the studio has given us is the one that just serves to cocaine on other shootings”, says Reynolds), three to four times less than the behemoths Disney-Marvel and Warner-DC, Deadpool can afford to be himself 100%. Or a “superhero” psychotic stalker, addict, rude, onaniste claimed, hyperviolent and happy to be. In the comic-trash vein Kick Ass and Kingsman (movies derived from comic invented by Mark Millar, old buddy Liefeld), Deadpool adds a decisive extra card in his game: the reduction of the 4th wall. As in his comic-book of origin, disfigured vigilant is an inexhaustible chatterbox, apostrophizing at every turn the viewer.
“Directed by overpaid badger”
the writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, already co-author of the script Zombieland (and thus specialists postmodern wink) exploit fully the status of “ugly duckling “of the company in view of the firing system. Throughout often very funny replies, Wade Wilson / Deadpool could care less openly from the jaws of his own interpreter and turnips its filmo. Post-Matrix
Upon completion, the novice Tim Miller, an expert in visual effects studio and creator of Blur, multiplies the effects razzle-l’oeil post Matrix, but, let’s face it, it is often seen! The opening of Deadpool , a clip in “bullet time” filmed entirely inside a car where the anti-hero rumble villains and is straight out of a “splash page” comic-book. We think of this scene when, as pathetic as the Liam Neeson disfigured Darkman , Wade Wilson observes sadly in the shadow his lost beloved. Is that tear us almost a tear, asshole! In short, Deadpool will not revolutionize the genre and it is even feared that if he continued rapidly among the ranks. But, bleeding and sexy at will, soaked in a pleasing bitterness against the big tricks of the genre, this movie brings inaugural still a breeze wholesome and really hair-raising freedom.
