Whether or not fan of dinosaurs, you have necessarily noticed in recent weeks on the run to alongside Chris Pratt in the corridors of metro or full training session in the trailer for Jurassic World.
velociraptors, that popular culture willingly considers ultra-smart hunters and mortally dangerous are now able to obey the orders of a trainer and be used for military purposes, without losing their fierce and unpredictable natural.
And yet …
The real velociraptors, those who have lived on Earth in the late Cretaceous, were never as scary or as smart as Jurassic Park monsters.
True size velociraptor
paleontological studies prove indeed that the velociraptor measured on average from 1.50 to 2 meters from head to tail and was 1.20 meters high, the size a large dog. This is far huge lizards represented in cinema, evaluated by Alan Grant (Sam Neill) to 1.80 meters high and 2.80 meters long.
