Lance Armstrong, the film: first trailer and … – TF1

The greatness and decline of Lance Armstrong had everything to inspire filmmakers. We knew that the directors Jay Roach and JJ Abrams were interested close to, want to offer completely different versions (the most controversial first, the second most Hollywood). Finally, the English filmmaker Stephen Frears that we know very gifted (Dangerous Liaisons) who managed to convince the faster, the amount biopic on behalf of Working Title and StudioCanal .

The Program presents itself as a vocation of destiny outside the American cycling champion Lance Armstrong standards, his fight against cancer doping scandal. Stephen Frears was infatuated with a script written by John Hodge, who regularly works with Danny Boyle, inspired by the book of the Irish journalist David Walsh, Seven deadly sins: my pursuit of Lance Armstrong .

Ben Foster, actor discovered in various independent productions there including a decade in the series Six Feet Under, could find the role of his life translating all ambiguities cyclist Duke.

Incidentally, the first images as much emphasis on the presence of Guillaume Canet in the skin doctor Michele Ferrari. Again, there is a physical transformation and the actor could be at its best in what is called a “character part.” Chris O’Dowd in the skin of journalist David Walsh is also ostensible and recalls that, if it is indeed a biopic where the viewer will play the game of resemblances, Stephen Frears will certainly take him on the field chasing the cat and mouse and thus instill a thriller voltage mercilessly.

It is curious to see the results, September 23, 2015 in France.
