The legendary Christopher Lee died – Premiere.fr Cinema

It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of the legendary Christopher Lee .
Also big in size (1.96 meters) by the talent ( over two hundred films), Christopher Lee was born May 27, 1922 in London, and grew up between a lieutenant colonel of the Royal Infantry father and mother countess.
After extensive studies at the prestigious University Oxford, where he studied classical literature in particular and ancient languages, he enlisted in the army and fought against the Soviet Union during the Winter War, before signing the Royal Air Force with which he took part in World War II and the denazification of Germany, experiences that will mark him for life

Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II November 2001, Christopher Lee was decorated with the medal of Chevalier of Arts and Letters some years later

He died Sunday at London’s Chelsea and Westminster Hospital -. as The Telegraph which issued the death certificate – following a respiratory failure. He was 93 years old.
