The “Minions”, the animation “Me Despicable” saga now have their film. Rather crazy, these urchins addicted to bananas seeking a master to abject worship. Three small gaffeurs monsters will eventually find a boss or rather a patron in the superméchante Scarlet Overkill.
Flanked by a submissive husband, Scarlet is an evil woman. The duo is doubled by another famous couple: Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet. It is to please their son Marcel, 4 years, big fan of Despicable Me that both actors were willing to double the super villains in French (Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm are doing it for the original version).
Report: Elisabeth Pourquery – Samuel Guibout

Aided by the co-director Kyle Balda, he has worked to give personality to these Minions in Parisian studios of Illumination Mac Guff.
Many ignore but “Minions” truly global phenomenon, were indeed manufactured in the 15th arrondissement of Paris. Mac Guff is the French pioneer in the creation of digital effects. Its expertise is recognized around the world, was asked by the giant Universal.
