The outdoor cinema at La Villette resumes at the Grande Halle – Le Figaro

A week after its cancellation for security reasons, the festival is back from 30 July until 21 August. The films will be projected not outside but inside the Great Hall.

This is what can be broadly called a spectacular turn of events. On 20 July, the outdoor film festival in the Villette saw canceled due to internal context stretched from Nice attack on 14 July. The financial support of the safety device was correct in the event. A week later, turnaround. The event, whose theme this year the “dress code” is finally retained, but it moves within the walls of the Great Hall, located inside the Parc de la Villette (XIX).

Of course, the festival will not be “outdoors”. Nevertheless, free sunbeds will be made available to the public, just to have nevertheless the illusion of a drive-in . So much for those who were happy to picnic unsheathing corkscrews and bottle of rosé, all these objects will be prohibited by security measures.

For the rest, nothing changes (or almost). The film programming remains almost the same (both films were exchanged) on Saturday with the projection of Casino Royale Martin Campbell. Other works celebrating the bonds of fashion and the 7th art will then be visible until August 21 (Wednesday to Sunday) at the Image Drive Nicolas Winding Refn or Young Girls of Rochefort of Jacques Demy.

The doors of the Great Hall will open at 20h30 for an early screenings at 21:30. Admission is free, subject to availability. So you know what you have to do, there will not be for everyone …
