Video – Loubna Abidar denounces his terrible assault – Gala

There are a few hours this Friday, November 6, Loubna Abidar, actress Much Loved released last September, posted a video on his Facebook page, just after being assaulted in Morocco

Violence, indifference, ignorance, for the final word. consternation. In May, when Much Loved was presented at the Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, the welcome was very warm. A week later, even before the fifth film by Nabil Ayouch is seen by the local cinema committee, it was banned in Morocco. The Moroccan association of defense of citizens filed a complaint against the team of the film and its director Whereas undermined the image of Moroccan women. Much Loved has yet quietly continued on his way, including a release in France in September. But for the actors, the story is quite different.

During the promotion of the film, Loubna Abidar, 29, the main actress of the film who plays Noah Moroccan prostitute, had granted an interview to Gala . She then confided to have alienated some of his family, but most of all have been the victim of threats to leave the country for three months before returning with a burqa and live hidden. This time, it went much further: in a video posted on Friday where it appears bloodied, she tells the aggression she has just suffered and the abhorrent treatment that was reserved for him.

A tear runs down her cheek pale and swollen, its open arcade shines in the little light that enlightens, but the face of Loubna Abidar is readable: we see it in anger and misunderstanding. “I was assaulted. Doctors, clinics and police stations refused to greet me. I went to the general police at night and I was received with laughter. “ Horrible? It is not finished. “Finally, Abidar was hit!” a policeman exclaimed. It concluded in disgust, convinced that his attackers did not even have seen the movie they reproach him. Bold, it offers them to judge the real movie, not the partial version censored by the Moroccan authorities
