Record presales for Star Wars: The Rise of force – TF1

This will be difficult to see Star Wars : The Rise of force next December 16, fans who stormed the ticket offices . I must say that the wait was long for them, because ten years have passed since the last episode, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith .

This new installment in the saga directed by JJ Abrams already totals 265,384 tickets sold, a month before its release, 123,000 of which passed in three days after opening the ticket October 19, according to figures released by The Walt Disney Company France.

It dethrones the previous record holder, 50 shades of Grey , which recorded 240,000 pre-sales, totaling just over 4 million entries across hexagon end of operation, and $ 166,2M related revenue in the US, and nearly $ 570M worldwide.

Across the Atlantic, where the film will be on screens on December 18, The awakening of force also sprayed garnering record near $ 8M before exit.

An output under the best omens for Disney, two other episodes, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: Episode VIII , are already scheduled for 2016 and 2017.
