Christian Bale will be Enzo Ferrari to Michael Mann – Le Figaro

For the director of Heat , the British actor will play the founder of the famous luxury car home.

It was called Commendatore. Enzo Ferrari died in 1988, had founded an empire on his passion for the automobile. The life of the Italian rider and industry will soon be adapted for the screen by the creator of Miami Vice , Michael Mann.

The film’s plot will draw Brock Yates’s book, Enzo Ferrari man, cars, racing, published in 1991. The story is set in 1957, ten years after the debut of Ferrari and then the contractor has just lost her son 24 years.
