After the success of their six concerts at Bercy in November 2014, the three friends have decided to go on tour again next summer. The first date is scheduled in Lille, on June 10.
The Vieilles Canailles (a nod to the song by Serge Gainsbourg) want to “surprise the audience”! Our colleagues of BFMTV revealed, Thursday, November 24, the reunion of the legendary group the time of a new tour outstanding, three years after their reunion.
The project was born in 2013, of the passion that is shared by the producer Valéry Zeitoun with Eddy Mitchell for the Rat Pack of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
Johnny Hallyday, Eddy Mitchell will go to meet fans in the summer of 2017 for a month. They will begin their series of concert with a first date in Lille on 10 June, and will continue their journey of music in France and abroad.
“After we follow Brussels, Geneva, Clermont-Ferrand, Strasbourg, france, Amneville, Rouen, Toulouse, Nantes, Dijon, and probably at least two festivals, to Meximieux and Aluna, in the Ardèche”, stated Pierre-Alexandre Vertadier and Valéry Zeitoun, the producer. A single date is announced in Paris for the septuagenarians of the song: Les Vieilles Canailles will be at the AccorHôtels Arena, on the 24th of June next.
It was only after a phone call, a few months ago, the trio decided to get back on stage. “Johnny, Eddy and James, are called and they said they would do it again well the Old Scoundrels, and that they would do it again well in the province”, leave it to the producers to RTL.
Black is black, Gabrielle, Cactus… these three tubes had already taken on a life last year, on tour. The three monuments of the French song had interpreted their repertoire, in solo, duo or trio depending on the song. Will they succeed to relight the fire?
