The strike at i-Tv, the second longest conflict in the audiovisual sector after the ORTF in 1968, Le Figaro

GRAPHICS – The strike at i-Tv is the entry for Monday in the fifth week, and will exceed Tuesday, and duration of the conflict in 2015 at Radio France. The audiovisual had not known of strike also long from that of the ORTF in 1968.

The employees of i-Tv voted Tuesday to 89% continued their strike until Wednesday afternoon, for a 31st consecutive day, after having examined the memorandum of agreement proposed by their management.

These proposals had been debated on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning, for twelve hours, by the employee representatives and management, the latter having expressed Monday, in the government of his desire to get out as quickly as possible of this conflict without precedent in the audio-visual sector in France since may ‘ 68.

“there is a willingness of the management to get out of this conflict. It is necessary now that there are acts,” stressed the minister of Labour Myriam El Khomri, at the end of a meeting with several leaders of the group.
