Rémy Pflimlin, former president of France Télévisions, has died – The Alsace.fr

Rémy Pflimlin died at the age of 62 years, died of cancer, at the hospital Pitié Salpêtrière hospital, in Paris. He was hospitalized for a month.

He had held a position of responsibility within the press in alsace, DNA, where he was commercial director, and to Alsace, where he chaired the management board, before taking up new functions in the audiovisual sector in Paris, where he had a distinguished career.

He led France 3, and has been named chairman of France Télévisions in 2010. A prestigious position that he has held until 2015. He had joined the State council in September 2015.

He also directed the New courier of the parisian press, from 2006 to 2010.

Rémy Pflimlin, who is a native of Mulhouse, has remained throughout his career faithful to Alsace, the region of origin.

He made his studies at HEC, before joining Days of France and continue his career in the press and the audiovisual media.

He was president of the Musica festival in Strasbourg, france since 2001, and ruled also over the national superior Conservatory of Paris for 2015.
