Allies: Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt, charming couple in turmoil – Le Figaro

Two actors more glamorous than ever come together for the first time on screen in Allies , the new film by Robert Zemeckis ( Forrest Gump, the Walk ). This is Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt. The American actor and the beautiful French are the two main heroes of that spy story set in the middle of World War II. The first trailer of this breathless drama was unveiled on 12 August.

The film tells the story of Vartan Max (played by Brad Pitt), an agent of British intelligence. In 1942, transferred on a mission to North Africa during the Second World War, he met Marianne Beauséjour (Marion Cotillard) and falls madly in love with her. The couple decided together to escape the war and trying at all costs to reach London. But their day turns out not to be as secure as they had planned on returning from the front.
