The American actor Robin Williams, one of the brightest of his generation, winning an Oscar for “Good Will Hunting”, died Monday, August 11 after presumably committed suicide.

An investigation is still “in the cause and manner of death,” but police said, adding that the actor was seen alive last time at his home, where he lived with his wife on Sunday “to 22 hours.”
