The film releases of the week of April 8: Lost River, Cake … – Premiere.fr Cinema

Choice 1: Lost River Ryan Gosling , Christina Hendricks , Reda Kateb

Synopsis: In a city that is dying, Billy, a single mother of two, is driven slowly in the shallows of a dark and macabre world, while Bones, his eldest son, discovers a secret road leading to a sunken city. Billy and his son will have to go through for their families so

Notice of First. The final title is beautifully poetic, but was Lost River its better working title: How to catch a monster. The first film Ryan Gosling evokes a ghost train, populated by monsters and undead, fantasies and nightmarish visions born of a child’s imagination – disrupted the kid, but still a kid .
Unlike than suggested different versions of the synopsis that we did not understand, the Lost River frame is clear. In the affected suburbs of Detroit (the moisture and heat of summer rather evoke Louisiana), entire cities are emptied of their inhabitants suffocated by debt and houses crumble and burn. Among the last survivors of the neighborhood, a single mother (superb Christina Hendricks ) and his two son struggling to survive. For the mother, the fight will go through a (very strange) form of prostitution for the elder son (Iain de Caestecker, clone Gosling) in a fight against his demons. Cliché? Naive? Childish? Absolutely. As are the great children’s stories, which sometimes leave indelible images in mind. ( read more here )

Only his housekeeper, who lugs around the drive horizontally as if she was already dead, still supports. The day one of the women in her support group suicide, Claire, driven by a twisted curiosity, visited the widower husband. Co-producer of the film, Jennifer Aniston sacrifices his California to scan the mug Cake and provide a perf while grimacing, against the use of its role nice girls .
