True Detective Season 2: Episode 1, our criticism! –

Many speculations have been made about this second season of True Detective. Will she as well as the duo of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson? Can we overcome the first season? To this last question, we can not yet answer. But this first episode of True Detective Season 2 looks promising. NIC PIZZOLATTO (the creator of the series) returns with an unhealthy and mysterious atmosphere that had made the success of the first season . Except that it is no longer of Louisiana but California and its underlying services. This first episode presents successively the four main characters: Colin Pharrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch, and the new plot. Every character is animated by a more or less corrosive addiction and that surely will all affect the proper conduct of the investigation.

The first minutes of the first episode of Season 2 of True Detective plunge us into the tragic and sinister past Velcoro Ray (Colin Farrell) whose wife was assaulted while he was still an honest cop and uneventful. Since it is the whiskey and violence that punctuate his life between two weekends where he can see his son. Colin Farrell interprets a rotten cop to numerous cracks which is probably the most toxic character of the series. Vince Vaughn, he interprets a contractor, Semyon Frank, who probably accustomed to appeal to crooked cops to keep out his business. We discovered in a Mexican bar in full Velcoro scheming with Ray (Colin Farrell). The scene is punctuated by the voice of a folk singer who tragically evokes the emptiness of existence. No doubt, the metaphysical questions of True Detective will be well in the program for this second season.

Finally it is the character of Rachel McAdams (Sheriff Ani Bezzerides) and that of Taylor Kitsch (Paul Woodrugh) that come into play. NIC PIZZOLATTO therefore established a central female character for the second season of True Detective unlike the first season very masculine. Ani Bezzerides promises to be a hothead and a professional knives . Rather she likes conceal knives around her. Her character also has not had an easy life and his family history boils between an absent mother, father, a guru of an institute of hippie manners and a former drug addict sister. The character of Paul Woodrugh (Taylor Kitsch) concludes the cast of the second season of True Detective and opens the plot of this season 2 of True Detective during a trip by motorcycle suicidal it interrupts in extremis . He discovered the lifeless body of Ben Casper, head of the city of Vinci who was missing from the beginning of the episode. This discovery then allows to combine the three cops who make up the new team in the second season of True Detective. What did you think of this first episode of Season 2 of True Detective?
