Morocco: Jennifer Lopez sued for disturbing public order – TF1

Jennifer Lopez has made the show last weekend in Rabat. Maybe a little too much. Indeed, the American singer, known for wearing very light clothing during her shows, is the target of a complaint for disturbing public order.

Broadcast on Moroccan public television, the live of the diva was deemed “very poor taste.” The singer “has tarnished the honor of women as she danced and sang songs of baseness and poor undeniable taste with suggestive gestures and attitudes detrimental to decency and morality in the presence of public mainly composed of minors e minor. ”

If the claim were to succeed, which is unlikely, the singer risk between one month to two years in prison. Moroccan Communications Minister was also keen to condemn concert on his Twitter account: “What was broadcast was unacceptable and contrary to the broadcasting law.”
