The death live on television. The cameraman filmed live this Wednesday, August 26th at 6:45 (local time) an interview for a local chain of Virginia (United States). Postpone talks with his guest when shots ring out.
Alison Parker Adam Ward 24 and 27 years were murdered live. “Someone with a gun, we believe this is a man, broke or were there and fired several shots: 6 or 7. We heard screams and then nothing and there, the camera fell, “ says Jeffrey Marks, general manager of the WDBJ7 chain.
The shooter is an employee of the chain. He filmed the scene with his cell phone before releasing a website in his name. Chased by the police on the highway, his car ended his race in a ditch. He was seriously wounded.
“We think it is a disgruntled employee (…)” , explains Terry Mcauliffie, governor of Virginia.
A few hours after the tragedy the White House has called on Congress to pass legislation to better regulate the sale and use of firearms.
