Love: Jack Lang in turn condemns the ban to minors – Le Figaro

The former Minister of Culture issued a highly critical statement against the decision of the Paris Administrative Court.

The ban Love to minors ordered by the Paris Administrative Court on Monday, decidedly not unanimous. Blithely criticized by Internet users, mocked by the producer of the film, Vincent Maraval, this decision is now denounced by the president of the Arab World Institute, Jack Lang.

In a statement, the former Minister of Culture wanted to show its support for the team of Love .

“The prohibition of the film Love to viewers under 18 years old brand once again advanced to censorship. We had in the 1980s brought to 16 the age at which a movie could be banned, establishing consistency with civil and criminal responsibility. Why restrain creative freedom of French film makers? I give my full support to Gaspar Noe and Vincent Maraval. “

When contacted by the Le Figaro , the Ministry of Culture declined to respond to these statements, the grounds that the ban is a court that does not call for comments.
