Human: 10 minutes of event-film Yann Arthus-Bertrand through two exclusive extracts – Screenrush

“Human”, Yann Arthus-Bertrand gives voice to more than 2000 citizens of the world and gives us a snapshot of humanity. A unique work to discover the cinema September 12, and now through two poignant excerpts.

After Home, in 2009, Yann Arthus Bertrand returns with the Human ambitious project. Recall that Human was fully funded by the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation to the tune of 13 million euros. The film is also led by the GoodPlanet Foundation. Thus, Yann Arthus-Bertrand was completely free hand to realize this huge project that took almost 3 years working across 110 locations in 60 countries. The filmmaker was able to compile 2020 life stories in 63 languages ​​and filmed over 500 hours of unreleased aerial images. As for the music of the documentary, it is signed Armand Amar who had already composed the Home partition.

The peculiarity of this Human is its title. It puts people at the center of concerns through the testimony of many anonymous worldwide filmed facing camera on black background. Note that the director also wanted to involve people known as Bill Gates, but these stories were finally withdrawn because of lacking real authenticity.

Note that this film will be screened in the public interest in New York September 12, 2015 at the General Assembly of the United Nations and in official selection out of competition at the Venice Festival.
