The humorist Laurent Violet died – Le Point

Laurent Violet, one of the singers of black humor, the origin of the series of shows The France Inter Kicked , has died at the age of 50 in the night from Thursday to Friday of a heart disease after open-heart surgery, told AFP his agent.

Revealed in 1985 with a first one-man show and caustic style without addressing the taboos hunger, disease or disability, Laurent Violet occurred on many Parisian scenes, including the Ice Palace, the Theatre and Café Dejazet the station, and tours with a dozen shows including The comic kills, Get Purple for 100 balls, The Slaughter of the year.

Speaking to Ruquier and Bern

In 2000, Laurent Violet had been banned by France Inter antenna after a joke about the drama of the funicular in Kaprun (Austria).
