The prix Interallié attributed to Serge Joncour – The World

The writer has been rewarded for “Rest on me” (Flammarion), a novel of love between two beings inhabited by loneliness.

The prix Interallié was awarded to Serge Joncour, Tuesday, November 8, for the Rest on me (Flammarion, 432 pages, 21 euros), a novel of love. Six votes were cast on the writer in the first round, four went to Eric Vuillard (July 14, Actes Sud, 208 pages, 19 euros), and two Gael Faye (Little Country, Grasset, 224 pages, 18 euros).

the opposite of books rather dark published this fall, the novel by Serge Joncour is a novel optimistic, a love story that ends well between the two beings inhabited by the loneliness : the Aurora, a stylist, married and mother of a family is confused ; and Ludovic, a servicer of debt, a widower and taciturn. The novel is already a bestseller.

Multiple pricing

The writer, screenwriter, author of eight novels, has already received several prices : the price of the Two-Magots, 2015, to The Writer national (Flammarion), the black humour award for Idol (Flammarion, 2004), adapted to film by Xavier Giannoli (Superstar in 2012), and the prix France Télévisions in 2003 for UV (The Dilettante). He has also written the screenplay for the movie Her name was Sarah, adapted from the novel by Tatiana de Rosnay, released in France in 2010.
