Box Office: Spectrum performs a record start for its operating first weekend – TF1

After enjoying a holiday on the occasion of its release last Wednesday, Spectrum continues its inexorable rise to the box office France. After starting his record with 900,000 spectators in its first day of operation, the new Bond has conquered the public this weekend as 1.9 million people have already seen the travels of the famous agent 007 in Mexico, in Rome, Morocco, Austria and of course in London according to figures provided by CBO Box Office. This is the best of the year the first weekend in front of the animated film, The Minions (1.7 million admissions).

Spectrum could see the audience deserting cinemas after the events that affected Paris Friday night. Despite the closure of many movie in the capital, moviegoers have not given a moment of relaxation in front of their big screen. With 1.9 million entries, Spectrum will offer the best start in the history of the James Bond saga with over 600,000 tickets sold as Quantum of Solace , released in 2008. Even Skyfall had pointed to only 1.2 million viewers after five days of operations three years ago. He ended his career not far from the symbolic seven million entries. Daniel Craig and his Bond girls, Léa Seydoux and Monica Bellucci, are on track to break that record.

In the rest of the rankings, The New Adventures of Aladdin , with Kev Adams showing, crossed the 4 million entries with 217,000 additional viewers. He beat the new comedy with Patrick Bruel and Isabelle Carré, Angel and Gabrielle (211 062) released last week.
