France Culture launches, from Monday 8 to Friday 12 February, a daily radio drama about the adventures of the hero of Hergé. Several members of the House of Molière give life to the album Cigars of the Pharaoh .

The Adventures of Tintin, the comic created by Hergé, landed on France Culture with Cigars of the Pharaoh as daily soap, played by the troupe of the Comedie-French. The first radio drama series, adapted by Katell Guillou, will be broadcast at 20:30 from Monday to Friday.

Tintin Monitor and The Blue Lotus , whose Registration is scheduled for September, and the albums the Seven crystal balls , the Temple of the sun and the Affair . The Castafiore Emerald will finally complete the collection.

“This is the first time I realize such an ambitious project, said director Benjamin Abitan. Tintin is so dense, there are so many sets, additional sound effects, different soundscapes that we spent our time running literally after the young reporter. “

Tintin continues always someone or something in this adventure that leads him to the East. He falls into a boat, is found on horseback, constantly moving from one box to another, from one board to another. “There is a work setting that requires new devices regularly, he says, the amount of sound effects necessary as the plane crash had underestimated the engine noise, the wings snapped in the trees … “

This is Noam Morgensztern, 35, the French actor, who entered the skin of Tintin. An adventure he found difficult because “everyone knows this character whose voice is in everyone’s head.” He is a complex character Tintin, nothing seems to affect. “I slip every time it is very thorough as work. It requires all make intimate, you almost every whisper, explains the actor. The others are colorful, but Tintin one wonders what he thinks, he is subtle and full of emotions, we think we caught one, but he is already elsewhere, it goes very fast. ”

The radio exercise interests because unlike the theater, where we also play in the back row, “on the air, there is something that does not cheat at all, it is the watch what everyone does, it is played to the millimeter. ”

Under the white coat Snowy, Jeremy Lopez, 31, the last Romeo of the Comédie-French, found the exercise “rather funny.” “I expected to do the voice of Milou, but not to play the dog, he admits. To his surprise, the director asked him “to create a universe of Milou ‘.” He began by squatting standing when others recorded. “I watched from below, by far, much dominated in a report, he says, I breathed hard to mark my presence but he had to be thin enough not to take over.”

Tintin sound identity was composed by musician Olivier Daviau, in close collaboration with Benjamin Abitan. “It was a very good meeting, his music performed by the Orchestre National de France under the direction of Didier Benetti plays a real driving force.”
