Bono Hasidic Jew in disguise – Le Point

Singer Bono has a way of his own to go cycling in Central Park. To avoid being recognized, it is disguised as Hassidic Jew. This was said U2 guitarist The Edge Friday. The musician was interviewed on the radio about the absence of any photo Bono, yet one of the most famous singers in the world, when it fell in Central Park. “When he left to bike, he likes to dress like a Hasidic Jew, so I think it probably helped” that no way does recognize the Irish singer and takes the photo, said The Edge. The guitarist seemed quite serious in his response, but the radio host has not revived for any additional details.

There are many Hasidic Jews in New York. They are dressed in black and wearing a beard. According to The Edge, Bono was wearing a helmet.

A violent fall

Bono, 54, fell violently during a bike ride in Central Park in mid-November. He had to undergo more than five hours of surgery to repair his broken left arm. A fracture was repaired with 3 metal plates fastened with 18 screws. Bono has also suffered a fracture to the orbit of an eye. This accident had led the group to cancel several shows. U2 played well in New York on Monday in a surprise concert to help the fight against AIDS, but Bono was absent, replaced by Bruce Springsteen and Chris Martin.

Bono was “very angry” after his fall, according to The Edge. Back in Dublin, it will recover all of its resources, but will have to follow several months of intensive rehabilitation. The guitarist also said that Bono had shown to other members of the group’s radio arm and his bones “looked like a miniature Eiffel Tower.”

U2 is back on tour in May and perform in 19 cities, until November
