Carol of American Todd Haynes, My Mother of Italian Nanni Moretti, Son of Saul Hungarian Laszlo Nemes, The Lobster Greek Yorgos Lanthimos, The Assassin the Taiwanese Hou Hsiao-Hsien and Youth of Italy’s Paolo Sorrentino: no less than six films 19 are among the favorites for the Palme d’Or, with no real consensus … The suspense is total!

Among the outsiders, Sicario the Canadian Denis Villeneuve, Chronic the Mexican Michel Franco with Tim Roth, Macbeth of the Australian Justin Kurzel, The Market Act the French Stéphane Brizé with Vincent Lindon.

Jury incommunicado
