Depeche Mode : three concerts in France in 2017 – The Figaro

The English band has announced, during a press conference in Milan, the release of his fourteenth album, dubbed Spirit, next spring. An international tour is scheduled from may 5 through 20 countries in Europe.

for thirty-six years ago that Depeche Mode ignited stages all over the world. The british group, comprised of Andrew Fletcher, Dave Gahan and Martin Gore is not about to retire. He just announced at a press conference in Milan (Italy) the output of a fourteenth disc, Spirit, next spring. In the aftermath, a great tour, called Global Spirit Tower, which must begin may 5, 2017 in Stockholm (Sweden).

“We worked in Santa Barbara and New York. This new album has an incredible sound, and we are already very proud of”, welcomed the singer Dave Gahan.

The first part of the tour, from 5 may to 23 July, in the 32 dates. It must pass by a score of european countries, among which Belgium, Hungary, Slovakia, Russia, Germany, Italy and Portugal, said Depeche Mode.

The group will also stop in France, with a stage in Nice on the 12th of may, and then in Lille on the 29th of may and finally at the Stage of France on the 1st of July. Tickets for the Hexagon will be on sale from Friday, October 14, at 10 am. A portion of the profits from the tour, which will continue after the Europe in North America, must be passed for the benefit of a charity project (getting water to villages in Africa).

The last album of the group, Delta Machine, dates back to 2013. It is imbued with blues, with synths, quasi-metal. This drive has also given the impetus of a vast world tour, attended by more than 2.5 million fans.
